Who We Are
Christian Scientists are a diverse group of people dedicated to living according to the teachings of Christ Jesus. We’re here to support one another and our community through proving the practicality of solving problems of all types and sizes through prayer. Many of us are life-long Christian Scientists while others of us have begun more recently to explore this way of life. All are welcomed as equal.
This church is a branch whose roots are in The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, founded by Mary Baker Eddy in 1879 – a church designed "to commemorate the word and works of our Master, which should reinstate primitive Christianity and its lost element of healing".

Christian Science grew out of Mary Baker Eddy’s own experiences and her compassionate search for a practical, spiritual solution to human suffering. A complete explanation of this Science is contained in her book Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures.
