Science Reading Room
A Reading Room is a bookstore and library, an urban sanctuary where anyone, regardless of faith, can step away from a busy day for a few moments of quiet reflection.
Our Reading Room is our open door to
the community. It’s a place where you can
come in and read the weekly Bible lessons, use research
materials, listen to inspirational tapes, ask questions,
and buy or borrow literature to advance your spiritual
quest. Here we make Science and Health
with Key to the Scriptures, by Mary Baker Eddy
available to the public. We also carry daily copies
of The Christian
Science Monitor, an award-winning newspaper
dedicated to unbiased, solutions-oriented reporting of
national and world news.
For over 80 years, our Reading Room has been located on “The Ave” in the University District in Seattle. We have a new Reading Room at 5034 University Way NE, across the street from the University Farmers Market and University Heights Community Center. There is ample parking on site. We hope you'll come in for a visit!
